この法則は人間社会でも有効と思います。
例えば、ある会社で、すべての従業員が朝から晩までみっちりスケジュールが入って、忙しく働いていた場合、この組織は不足の事態に対応できません。
突発的なクレームが発生したり、新規のオーダーの話があっても十分な対応ができず、徐々に組織としての機能を失っていくでしょう。
常にある程度のバッファーを持っていないといざというときの対応ができません。
それが10%ということなのでしょうか。
個人でも常に忙しい人がいますが、その様な人はクレームの対応が遅く、新規のオーダーの話をしても常に機を逃しています。
朝から晩まで一生懸命働いているのに、一向に売上、利益が上がらないというのは、まさしくこのケースで、適度なバッファーがないからだと思います。
日頃は定時に帰宅するが、いざという時は徹夜でも対応する、というような順応性を持つことが重要と思います。
